Purple Summers slowly tasted her bowl of steamed egg with shrimp, lifting her gaze at the question, “Fifty-fifty, I guess.”

Zara’s heart tightened at this, and she expressed her concern, “Will Jane McCain be convicted? Do we still have a chance to appeal?”

“Stay calm,” Aria Jackson gently patted her shoulder, “The fifty percent she’s talking about is the chance of sending Dion Benson to jail. Jane McCain will definitely be fine.”

Zara let out a sigh of relief, but she still felt nervous given that the morning’s court hearing did not seem very optimistic. Although Purple Summers occasionally had the upper hand, it did not seem to be a very clear advantage.
