She sat down in front of Norton Young and told him, “Five years, that’s the plea agreement from the prosecution.”

“…Five years?” Norton’s body swayed, seemingly in disbelief, “I haven’t done anything… and they want to lock me up for five years?”

Purple wasn’t the least bit afraid of him and approached with a beaming smile, wrapping her arms around his neck and planting a kiss on his lips.

“What time is it now?” she asked with a laugh, “When did you get here?”

Alexander huffed coldly, “Ten o’clock. I’ve been waiting for you for an hour.”

What he meant was that he had been home since nine.

Purple quietly calculated in her mind – accounting for the time on the road and on the flight, Alexander must have left Pearlpoint City around five or six, probably without even having dinner.

“Have you had dinner?” Purple hung on him, swinging and cooing, “I’m so hungry, have a bite with me… ”
Alexander glanced at her sideways, his voice cool, “Coming back so late, you haven’t eaten?”

“I went out to meet a classmate.”

“A male classmate or a female classmate?”
