This flattery subtly smoothed over the imprudence in Gaoling Ze’s comments and finally brought a smile to Lin Wu’s face.

Lin Wu remained noncommittal but with a smile lifted his head, “I never refuse anything that can make money.”

“Well, the Mecha engine from Loki Heavy Industry has quite the background. From our analysis, it’s very likely a product of an Ancient Relic!” Donatello chose his words carefully, not willing to reveal too much before securing a commitment from Lin Wu.

Ancient Relic!?

Nobody noticed the sudden constriction of Lin Wu’s pupils deep in his eyes, but he casually asked, “And what about Ancient Relics?”

Donatello laughed heartily, seeing that Lin Wu was showing definite interest, even if he did not yet understand the significance of Ancient Relics; this did not hinder the unfolding of the next stage.

“Ancient Relics are areas of Chaotic Flow that occasionally appear, where any given meteor belt might conceal ancient ruins affected by specific cosmic Chaotic Flows. Often, one can find items that have crossed time and space… objects from beyond the sky. Those that appear contain either some unique powers or technology that we have yet to replicate,” Donatello explained.

Lin Wu arched his eyebrows, “And then?”

“The engine of the Mecha from Loki Heavy Industry is very likely from an unknown civilization! It could very well be a Supergravity Engine, something the Federation has yet to find a practical application for!”

Donatello slowly unveiled his ultimate motive–the engine with infinite possibilities!
